The 87th Annual Plaza Art Fair

Held Friday, September 21, 2018 through Sunday, September 23, 2018, The Plaza Art Fair encompasses nine city blocks and welcomes a crowd of over 250,000. Featuring 240 artists, the Plaza Art Fair is atop-ranked, national art event with three live music stages and over 25 featured restaurant booths. It continues to be a weekend of people simply celebrating art and each other, as well as Kansas City’s unofficial welcome to the fall season.

  • Relax and refresh in our tent, located at the heart of the fair.

  • Visit our Nursing Mother’s Lounge at re located at the corner of Nichols Road and Wyandotte. Enjoy a private, comfortable space to nurse or bottle-feed your baby. Open Saturday 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

  • Take a picture with our giant GO LIFE sculptures and photo wall.

  • Stop by our tent for balloons and prizes throughout the fair.

  • Enter to win original artwork from this year's featured artist.

  • Saint Luke's is also the proud provider of first-aid services during the Plaza Art Fair.

Come build with Egyptian blocks and take inspired selfies at the photo op of Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art booth! We are celebrating Queen Nefertari: Eternal Egypt, a remarkable exhibition that opens at the museum this fall. You will see hieroglyphs, animals and insects, and gods and goddesses depicted on cardboard building blocks. Sign up to be a member of the museum, and discover member benefits for the fall season. Experience ArtsKC 

ArtsKC – Regional Arts Council and Saint Luke’s Health System have partnered to present Experience ArtsKC – an immersive arts experience at the Plaza Art Fair. Fair-goers are encouraged to visit booths representing 16 local arts agencies located on Broadway north of Nichols Road. Discover great community arts events and organizations that Kansas City has to offer year-round!
